UOK East Sussex Wellbeing Service Tender Opportunity

As Lead Provider for the Mental Health Support Service Contract (UOK East Sussex), Southdown has launched a tender opportunity for organisations to deliver part of that contract – the UOK East Sussex Wellbeing Service.

Current UOK East Sussex Services

Led by Southdown, UOK East Sussex currently delivers:

  • Community Connectors (Social Prescribing Service)
  • Thinking Well (Complex Emotional Needs Service)
  • Screen & Intervene (Severe Mental Illness Physical Health Checks)
  • Mental Health Support Coordinators (Emotional Wellbeing Services)
  • Employment Support (Individual Placement Support – IPS)
  • Work in Mind (Employment Advisors)
  • Seaview, St Leonards (Complex Needs Drop-in Hub)
  • Possability People (Service User Engagement & Involvement)
  • Qwell (Online mental health support, resources, and guided self-help)
  • Seven Wellbeing Centres in Lewes, Newhaven, Eastbourne, Bexhill, Hastings, Hailsham, and Uckfield

    The new UOK East Sussex Wellbeing Service follows a co-produced redesign of the Wellbeing Centre provision.

Procurement Details

The UOK East Sussex Wellbeing Service is being procured in five lots. These lots align with the new Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams footprints, based on the following lower-tier local authorities:

  • Eastbourne
  • Hastings
  • Lewes
  • Rother
  • Wealden

Organisations may bid to deliver one or multiple lots. Each lot will be assessed individually. The delivery of the UOK East Sussex Wellbeing Service will be a partnership involving the Lead Provider, the five principal subcontractors, and grantee partner organisations. There will be close working relationships with other UOK East Sussex services listed above.

Our aim is to ensure everyone in East Sussex is able to access support, information and help with their wellbeing, providing regular social connection, help to build resilience and avoid crisis that can accessed easily, when needed and last for as long as needed.
