Tara’s background is in social care. She brings to Southdown’s Board over 10 years’ experience of working in local government, leading change at an operational and strategic level and managing complex issues in a rapidly changing sector. Tara has held various leadership roles across health and social care and is currently the Head of Adult Safeguarding at The Royal Marsden NHS Trust.
Tara is passionate about ensuring that services are safe, person-centred and make a measurable difference to the lives of people who use them. She is delighted to join Southdown’s Board and use her professional skills and experience to provide effective governance and support the organisation as it drives forward it’s refreshed business strategy.
Tara was co-opted to Southdown’s Board in January 2022 and became a full Board Member in September 2022. Tara is also Southdown’s Freedom to Speak Up Guardian and Safeguarding Lead, and can be contacted via our Administrative Support Lead.
